The arcade cabinet gave each player two tread joysticks. Push both forward to drive, one forward and one back to spin. Choose Classic in Settings for that feel, or keep Simple steering.

Gamepad

Pad 1 controls Player 1 and pad 2 controls Player 2. Classic mode: left stick = left tread, right stick = right tread. Simple mode: left stick or D-pad steers. A / RT / RB fire, B / LT / LB shield, Start joins.

How to play

Fuel is your life. It drains over time, and every hit you take burns more. Grab the red fuel canisters.
Collect battle stars. After each station, spend them in the Equipment Room on speed, shot speed, range, power, shields and a bigger fuel tank.
Drive onto the green exit hatch to go up a level. The top level of every station holds the control center. Destroy it to unlock the exit, then escape before the station blows.
Shields block all damage while you hold the button, but they only last a few seconds and recharge slowly.
Your shots can knock enemy shells out of the air.
